Yesterday I drove up behind a 4x4 that was waiting at traffic lights. After
about 10 seconds the 4x4 went into reverse and parked itself neatly into the
front of my car. It had a towbar, which put a fine dent into my front panel.
"Crash for cash" should have popped into my mind but it didn't, and anyway,
would have been wrong. The driver was grovelling with abject appologies. He
expained that a screaming 3-year old had distracted him. We exchanged the
necessary and went on our ways. I've sent the dashcam footage to my
insurance company and they are treating it as the other chap's fault.

I now find that I am dealing with the insurance company, their assors (a
different company) and their vehicle repair agents (yet anothe company). I'm
too old for this caper.

Quite so. No compensation for the faff, and lack during all the delays.
